Meet your host, Jasmine Solano, a Philly Motown girl turned HIP
HOPSTER SOUL GAL. Jasmine put a ‘face to the name’ as a
VJ for MTV2 and has been the host and MC for concerts featuring
Grandmaster Flash, Akfrika Bambaataa, Questlove, Q.tip, De La Soul,
GZA, The Platinum Pied Pipers, Dilated Peoples, M1 of Dead Prez,
Jaguar Wright and Goapele. Known for her contagious spirit
and unwavering allegiance to old soul, Jasmine effortlessly combines
the cutting edge with the timeless in a mix of R&B, Soul, Electronica,
House and Hip Hop. From Armand Van Helden to Nina Simone, this hostess
extraordinaire is sure to hit your spot on her show, The Meltdown on
Integrated Radio

Ebony “Wildcat” starts the party with her collection of rare grooves,
old school hip hop, classic soul, afrobeat, punk rock, reggae,
neo-soul, disco, and movie sound tracks. This wild and sexy model/DJ
has appeared in National print ads and commercials. She has also been
featured in music videos for Will Smith, P. Diddy, Janet Jackson,
Outkast, Nelly Furtado, Macy Gray and Pink. Along with her current
residency on Thursdays at La Esquina, NYC, she has also played at
Spice Market, Norwood (Private Club), the Dressing Room, and Gallery
Bar and is quite involved in the Afro-Punk scene.

DJ Cat NYC: The party prowess of DJ Cat NYC secured her first New York
club residencies at nightlife impresario Amy Sacco’s Lot 61 and
Bungalow 8. This along side Vogue Magazine events, Marc Jacobs
soirees, Calvin Klein fashion shows and East Village punk rock bars,
put DJ Cat at the forefront of the New York City party scene. She has
been featured on NBC TV’s ‘Saturday Night Live’, was named one of
NYC’s 10 hottest dj’s, and has also been featured on SONY’S Animax

The Agytators: These two amazing individuals together create a
talented visual force through their photography and lifestyle. Check
out their blogspot . They believe
in “the awesome power of women in the arts.” The Agytators are bold,
beautiful, and are breaking any boundary that tries to box them.
Downstairs of 205 Club will be their photo booth installation. Get
your picture taken and prepare to be fabulously agytated!

Presenting Joi, one of the baddest women in music, the voice of
OutKast, the first black model in a major Calvin Klein print ad, has
been called “the new Madonna,” and one of the funkiest, sexiest, and
inspiring performers you will ever see. We welcome her to NYC from
Atlanta. She has received nominations from the Grammy’s and American
Music Awards. She is best known for her album Star Kitty’s Revenge and
Tennessee Slim is the Bomb. She was a member of the Hip/Hop/R&B
supergroup, Lucy Pearl, and has two songs in the movie Idlewild. For
those that pride themselves on knowing true well- rounded vocal
talent, Joi remains one to talk about. Joi is the funkstar that makes
us female artists proud.

Finally, I’m happy to be working with Ashes57 on production and
design. She’s the designer of the Dub War flyer/poster, North Face
promotional graphics, Obey Clothing, and Volkl Snowboards, to name a
few. She is a brilliant artist and you can check out her work on She is in London at the moment but we seem to work
through that. Let’s wish her a safe trip back!
